Types of Bill Glass Ministries Events

Day of Champions (DOC) - A Day of Champions starts with training the night before going into the prisons, jails, and/or juvenile institutions. Training is typically on Friday night and going Behind the Walls is usually on Saturday. Please check the event information for actual days.

Weekend of Champions (WOC) - A Weekend of Champions starts with training typically on a Thursday night followed by going into the prisons, jails, and/or juvenile institutions for the next two days (usually Friday and Saturday). There is a dinner after the first day of ministering to celebrate what God did that day and to prepare for the next.

Special Ops - A Special Ops is a compact event where a group boards a bus to travel to a facility that is too remote to have a local Bill Glass Ministries presence (1.5-2+ hours travel time). Training occurs on the bus. Upon arrival, the group ministers Behind the Walls and then boards the bus back to the departure location. The trip is a time of eating dinner and rejoicing over our new brothers and sisters.

Blitz - A Blitz is Day of Champions compacted into one day. Training occurs early in the morning and then the team goes to the facilities. These type of events usually last 8 hours total.

Beyond the Walls events - A Beyond the Walls event is done in partnership with a church or churches in a specific area, typically in a community location like a park. These events are opportunities for Christians who are hesitant to go into correctional facilities but still want to learn and practice sharing the Gospel. We use Platform Guests to draw people in and entertain them and those performers hand off the people to the volunteers to share the tract just like Behind the Walls. These is an easy way to engage more church members to reach their communities.
