Ministry Update

You will not see me carrying around a sign that says, “THE END IS NEAR” but every day it seems there is another clear indication (other than the calendar) that we are closer to the end than we were yesterday. Time seems to be picking up speed. We are already halfway through 2024! The importance of our mission has not changed. I have seen a lot of people spending time and resources on “good” things, but I feel that our time is growing short and the need to be more urgent about the eternal matters is now.

Upcoming Events: Have you looked at our calendar lately? We have 18 events over the next three months and 25 over the next four. We are loaded up and still working on adding more in the final months as well as beginning to flesh out 2025. Click here for the event calendar.

Local Teams: While we have been blessed with the results of our events and the numbers of folks we have trained and new and returning brothers and sisters, our events can always improve. We can train more and reach more, and we can expand our reach into more areas. The only way we can do that effectively is through strong, active Local Teams. There are roles, big and small. Share the Road: Motorcycles have been a huge draw on events for decades. They are basically Platform Guests! So many of our bikers travel all across the country to use their motorcycles to open up Gospel conversations. Recently, we had two Teammates donate motorcycles to the ministry including one that was ridden on Texas death row! What a blessing. I’m looking forward to riding in with many of you very soon.

FreeWill.com: FreeWill.com is a service that we have partnered with that will allow you, our ministry staff, and all our Teammates to set up free wills, trusts, and Power of Attorneys and it is fully PAID for. There is no cost to you, and they will not try to up-sell you. FreeWill also provides services to assist with the donation of cryptocurrency, stocks, real estate, and more. We will be launching it next week and you will get an email with details.

Training Inmates: When you go on an event in August, you will notice a new Trained column on the Commitment Sheet and packet envelope. We have seen an increase in inmates who are already following Christ, so we are encouraging our Teammates to take time and train these brothers and sisters in how to share the Good News and then give them tracts to take with them and do so! It is an added facet to mission!

Sterling, CO: We trained 37 Teammates including 12 Rookies, had 479 Gospel conversations in Sterling, CO. 109 men began relationships with Jesus and another 168 repented and returned to Him!

Middle GA: We trained 31 Teammates including 5 Rookies had 232 Gospel conversations with inmates in three facilities. 47 men began relationships with Jesus and another 130 repented and returned to Him!

Next Up: We covet your prayers and support as we train more and send more into facilities in Cleveland, OH, Valdosta, GA, San Diego, CA, Columbus, OH, and Houston, TX over the next three weekends. What a blessing to see Bill’s obedience result in so much ministry being accomplished!
